Be happy card for Conie Fong

Hello there:

Vengo a enseñaros la segunda tarjeta que he hecho este mes de abril como diseñadora para Conie Fong.

En este caso se trata de una slimline card (o tarjeta alargada) hecha con una bella imagen llamada Lavender´s Blue que podéis encontrar AQUÍ.

Today´s entry is to show you my latest creation this April as a designer for Conie Fong. This time, it´s a slimline card made with a lovely image called Lavender´s Blue that can be found HERE

Como no podía ser de otra manera, está coloreada con rotuladores Copic en las siguientes combinaciones:

The image is coloured with my Copic markers in the next combinations:

-Vestido/dress: R02,R12,R14,R17

-Lazo sombrero y vestido/Dress and hat laces:C0,C1,R14,R11

-Flores mint/Mint flowers:BG32,BG35,BG49

-Hojas/leaves:G94,G99

-Amarillos/yellows:Y15,Y19

Una vez coloreada, la recorté y comencé a diseñar la tarjeta:

Once the image was colored, I cut it and started to design the card

Lo primero fue recortar con un troquel de Mama Elephant el panel, al cual le hice un fondo de nubes con un pequeño metacrilato en forma de nube y tinta Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass.

I made the panel with a Mama Elephant die for slimlines and made the sky background with a little methacrylate cloud and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.

Después coloqué el panel en una cartulina texturizada color salmón, a juego con el vestido. Preparé la base con una cartulina blanca de alto gramaje y le coloqué encima otra cartulina texturizada salmón.

Then, I placed on the panel a textured cardstock salmon colored matching the dress. I made the card base with heavy weight white cardstock and placed on top another salmon colored cardstock.

Además preparé otra cartulina con el mismo fondo de nubes que el panel y lo utilicé para troquelar dos veces cada una de las letras que forman la palabra "happy".

Besides, I made another cloud background to make the letters of the word "happy" with an alphabet die.

Pegué las letras entre ellas y al panel y les apliqué una capa de Stickles de Ranger en tono Diamond, además de troquelar la palabra "be" en el mismo tono salmón.

I glued the word happy with two layers each letter and a layer of Stickles of Ranger on top.

Por último, pegué al panel la imagen por medio de cuadrados de foam autoadhesivos para dar algo de relieve.

Finally, I glued the image to the panel with autoadhesive foam squares to give some relief.

Eso es todo, espero que os guste también el resultado, a mi cada vez me gustan las tarjetas más delicadas y poco recargadas (¡sin llegar al CAS claro! al fin y al cabo mi estilo era más tirando al fully loaded)

And that would be all for today, I hope you like this delicate card (no CAS but more clean than I used to a couple of years ago).

Tercera colaboración con Joy Clair Desings: Guest designing for Joy Clair Designs III

Hello everyone:

Momento de enseñaros mi tercera colaboración como diseñadora de Joy Clair Designs. 

En mi primer proyecto realicé una slimline card y en el segundo un tag con bolsillo para guardar una bolsita de té.

Time to show you my third colaboration as a Guest Designer for Joy Clair Designs.

My first project was a slimline card and the second one a couple of tags

En esta ocasión he realizado una tarjeta con un precioso atrapasueños que forma parte del set "Floral Catcher" que podéis encontrar AQUÍ.

On this occasion I´ve made a card with a beautiful dreamcatcher that you can find at the "Floral Catcher" set HERE

Ambos atrapasueños son una maravilla, pero del que he elegido  sencillamente me enamoré.

Decidí destacarlo además de con el coloreado (realizado con rotuladores de alcohol Copic) aplicándole foil dorado con mi sencilla plastificadora (es bien sencillo, pero recordad que la imagen debe estar impresa con láser y la plastificadora muy caliente).

Both dreamcatcher are gorgeous but I fell in love with this one, coloured with Copic markers and golden foil with a laminator.

Una vez coloreada la imagen con los siguientes tonos:

copic combos

-rojos/red:R39,RV29,RV25,RV23

-Marrones/brown: E30,E33,E35

-Azules/blue: BG70,BG72

-Verdes/green: G07,G03,G28

Recorté la imagen  y la pegué con cuadrados de foam autoadhesivos para darle profundidad a unos troquelados (uno en azul pálido a juego con la imagen y otro en plata) que hice con un troquel de Spellbinders y preparé la base de la tarjeta de la siguiente manera: Base blanca con cartulina de alto gramaje, una cartulina texturizada roja y encima de ella un papel decorado en tono marrón verdoso.

I cut the image and glue with adhesive foam to a blue and a silver die cut from Spellbinders.The base is a white cardstock with a textured red cardstock on and another decorated paper.

En cuanto al sentimiento, también pertenece al set y también le he aplicado foil con la plastificadora (montado encima del mismo papel decorado)

Regarding the sentiment, it belongs to the same set and it´s also with golden foil.

Segunda colaboración para Joy Clair Designs: Guest designing for Joy Clair Designs II

Hoy es el día de mostrar mi segunda colaboración como diseñadora invitada para Joy Clair Designs.

A diferencia del primer proyecto en el que hice una tarjeta slimline, en esta ocasión he hecho dos tags con bolsillos para meter dentro un detalle, como por ejemplo una infusión, ya que se trata de

imágenes de tazas con flores, que forman parte del mismo set, llamado "Cup of Joy" y que podéis encontrar AQUÍ.

I´m here today to show you my latest project as a Guest Designer for Joy Clair Designs.

Unlike my first project, a Slimline card with a beautiful flower bouquet, this time I´ve made two tags with a little pocket where you can place a tea bag or similar, given the fact that the beatiful images are cups with flowers which belong to the same set called "Cup of Joy" that can be found HERE.

En esta primera foto podéis ver el diseño: Se trata de un tag cuya base está hecha con papel de acuarela (con un gramaje bueno) y sobre la que he colocado un papel decorado ( tanto para la base como para el papel decorado he utilizado un troquel de tag con falso cosido).

Una vez pegados, realicé agujero y coloqué eyelet con la Crop a Dile, además de entintar los bordes con Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick.

The tag base is made with watercolor paper on top of which I´ve placed a decorated one. I´ve used a tag with false stitches die.

Once both paper where glued, I´ve made the hole and placed an eyelet with my Crop a Dile, besides, the borders were inked with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick.

La imagen de Joy Clair está coloreada con rotuladores Copic, además de llevar algunos elementos glitter con brillo de la marca Nuvo.

The Joy Clair´s image is coloured with Copic markers and some touches of Nuvo glitter. Once coloured, I cut the cup with its flowers and placed it on top of a pocket over the tag.

Una vez coloreada la preciosa taza con flores, la recorté y la coloqué sobre un bolsillo que, una vez realizado, pegué sobre el tag.

El sentimiento (en este caso, "Sweet Thoughts of You") forma parte también del set.

The sentiment (in this case "Sweet Thoughts of You") it´s part of the same set.

En la siguiente foto os muestro los dos tags juntos, el segundo con la bolsita de té en su interior y el sentimiento (por supuesto del set) dedicado al Día de la Madre.

Atado al agujero del tag hay una delicada puntilla y una cadena de bolas de la que cuelga un pequeño sobre (puede ser decorativo o podéis poner dentro unas palabras).

At the next picture I´m showing you the second tag, with the tea bag in it and the sentiments dedicated to the Mother´s Day (also available in the set).

Tied to the tag hole there´s a delicate white lace and a ball chain where I placed a little envelope ( made with the same decorated paper that the pocket, where you can keep some words).

Hasta aquí mi segunda colaboración con esta firma que tiene unos sellos e imágenes digitales preciosos (mis favoritos son los bouquet de flores, pero hay muchos más).

And that would be all about this second colaboration with Joy Clair Designs where you will find lots of amazing images, including several flower bouquets like these.

Tarjeta de cumpleaños con Emma and Ellie de Conie Fong/Birthday card with Conie Fong´s Emma and Ellie

Hello everyone:

Nuevo trabajo como diseñadora de Conie Fong. Esta vez se trata de una tarjeta de cumpleaños hecha con una dulce imagen llamada "Emma and Ellie" que podéis encontrar AQUÍ.

My latest card as a DT for Conie Fong is a Birthday card made with a sweet image called "Emma and Ellie" that can be found HERE

He coloreado la preciosa y dulce imagen utilizando rotuladores Copic en las siguientes combinaciones:

I´ve colored it with Copic markers using the next combinations

-Piel/skin: E11,E21,E00,E93,V20, RV11

-Labios/lips:RV13,RV11

-Cabello/hair:E27,E25,E33,E30

-Vestido/dress:RV11,RV13,RV14,RV13,BG10,BG11,BG15

Por último unos toques de rotulador de gel blanco. To finish de colouring, some details of white gel pen.

Una vez terminada de colorear la imagen, hice un fondo con rotuladores Copic:B00,C0 y blender, así como Distress Oxide sobre un  troquel de formas metálicas a modo de stencil, Stickles de Ranger en tono Diamond en un precioso brillo (que casi no se aprecia en la fotografía) y manchas blancas con Posca.

Once the image was coloured, I´ve made the background with Copic B00,C0 and Blender, besides Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick on a metallic die, Ranger´s Stickles (Diamond) and dots with Posca White.

Troquelé en panel con un troquel de rectángulo festoneado con falso cosido de "La Pareja Creativa" y lo monté sobre una cartulina fucsia .

I cut the panel with a die of a scalloped rectangle and false stitches from "La Pareja Creativa" and I placed it on top of a fucsia textured cardstock.

Lo siguiente fue hacer la base con papel de acuarela blanca y colocar encima la misma cartulina fucsia y un papel de scrapbooking básico rosa.

Then, I made the base with watercolor paper and I placed on top another piece of fuscia cardstock and a basic pink paper.

Lo último fue crear el sentimiento: con un troquel de abecedario hice el "happy" que tiene textura gracias a una carpeta de embossing (además de brillo con el stickles de Ranger) y el "Birthday" que es parte de un troquel de Lawn Fawn.

Finally, I create a sentiment with an Alphabet die for the "happy" also with texture from a texture folder and some Stickles. The "Birthday" is a part of a Lawn Fawn die

Eso es todo, Emma y Ellie son una preciosidad, ¿no os parece?

Primera colaboración con Joy Clair Stamps/ Guest designing for Joy Clair Stamps

Hello everyone:

Hoy  quería enseñaros el proyecto que he realizado como diseñadora invitada para Joy Clair Stamps, una firma con unos sellos (tanto físicos como digitales) increíbles, con unos bouquet de flores que son una auténtica preciosidad, me enamoré de ellos en cuanto los vi.

I´m here today to show you my latest project I´ve made as a Guest Designer for Joy Clair Stamps, a company with plenty of really beautiful clear and digital images, with some flower bouquets that really blow your mind with their beauty.

Para mi primera colaboración de este mes de Abril elegí un set de sellos llamado "Spring Bouquet Slimline" que podéis encontrar AQUÍ y que tal como indica su nombre es perfecto para hacer esas slimline que nos gustan tanto. Además en el set vienen dos imágenes distintas con sus dos sentimientos.

For my first design this month, I´ve chose a beautiful set called "Spring Bouquet Slimeline" that can be found HERE and as you can say for the image name is perfect for making the slimline cards we love.

Besides, there are two images and two sentiments in the same set.

Para realizar mi proyecto, utilicé uno de los bouquet y el sentimiento "you´ve been on my mind" el cual imprimí justo debajo de las bonitas flores a las que es realmente fácil dar una realista profundidad.

To create my project I use one of the flower bouquet included on the set plus the sentiment "You´ve been on my mine", printed just below the lovely flowers that are so easy to color and get a realistic depth.

Una vez impreso el panel, coloreé la imagen con mis rotuladores Copic y entinté el fondo suavemente con tinta Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick.

Once I printed the panel, I coloured the image with my Copic markers and inked the background softly with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick.

Por otro lado, a la base hecha con papel de acuarela blanca (me encanta su alto gramaje y su textura) le 

coloqué una cartulina texturizada de un vivo color mostaza.

Besides, I used a watercolor paper (I love the heavy weight and the texture of this paper) and I placed on top a bright yellow and textured cardstock.

Encima de esta cartulina coloqué otra de un rosa fuerte a juego con la imagen, que previamente había troquelado con un troquel de Spellbinders.

On top of this cardstcock I place a strong pink one that was previously cut with a Spellbinders die set of frames.

Los últimos detalles de la tarjeta fueron remarcar la silueta de la imagen con un Copic entonto verde suave, hacer algunas manchas negras en los extremos de las flores y colocar cerca de estas manchas unas piedras de strass que previamente había coloreado de negro con un rotulador también Copic (número 100).

The final card details were to surround the image silhouette with a soft green Copic marker and make some black spots near the end of the leaves, besides I´ve glued some black rhinestones that I coloured with a black Copic (number 100)

Y hasta aquí mi primera colaboración con Joy Clair Stamps, en unos días volveré con la segunda.

Tarjeta caballete con "Easter Bunny Trio" de Conie Fong

Hoy vengo a enseñaros mi segundo trabajo de inspiración para el Equipo de Diseño de Conie Fong.

I´m here today to show you my latest creation as a member of the Design Team of Conie Fong

Se trata de una tarjeta caballete que he hecho utilizando como imagen a un precioso trío de conejitos de Pascua. La imagen se llama "Easter Bunny trio with Branch" y la podéis encontrar AQUÍ.

This time I´ve made an easel card with a beautiful image called "Easter Bunny Trio with Branch" that can be found HERE

Una vez coloreada la imagen con rotuladores Copic (y aplicado unos toques de Stickles de Ranger en tono Diamond en las flores), utilicé tintas Distress para hacer un fondo muy suave con cepillo.

Once I coloured the image with Copic markers (and some touches of Ranger´s Stickles on the flowers), I used Distress inks and Oxides to make a soft and delicate background.

Cuando acabé el fondo, troquelé el panel con una troquel en forma de sello de correos de La Pareja Creativa y monté el panel sobre una cartulina marrón.

When I finished the background, I used a die to cut the panel (a stamp shape die from La Pareja Creativa) and placed the panel on top of a brown cardstock.

Posteriormente realicé la sencilla estructura de la tarjeta caballete con cartulina blanca de alto gramaje, colocando el panel en la parte superior de la base.

After that, I made the simple structure of an easel card with heavey weight white cardstock, placing the panel on the upper side of the card base.

En la parte de abajo, tal y como podéis ver en la fotografía siguiente, coloqué cartulina texturizada rosa y el sentimiento, troquelado con un troquel  con los bordes calados y montado en una cartulina marrón, que también es parte del set.

On the bottom side, I placed a pink textured cardstock (as you can see at the next picture with the card open) and I also placed the sentiment (also at the image set).

Este "Easter Greetings" está pegado a la base por medio de unos cuadrados de foam autoadhesivo para que resalte y así poder funcionar de tope para que la parte superior quede levantada.

This "Easter Greetings" is glued with some adhesived foam squares to hold the upper size of the card

Como último detalle del diseño, dos flores que recorté y coloreé al imprimir la imagen dos veces.

As final detail of the design, I placed two flowers (I printed the image twice just in case) next to the sentiment (one glued with adhesive foam square and the other flat).

Recordatorio para el reto de marzo ´21 en Colouring: Todo vale/Mascotas

 Hola a todos:

Este mes de marzo en Colouring tenemos un reto muy bonito, en el que además del TODO VALE, se une el ocasional tema de MASCOTAS.

Ya sabéis que siguiendo el tema opcional en vez del todo vale, podéis enlazar dos veces vuestro trabajo, lo que supone doble oportunidad de ganar en el sorteo.

En cuanto al patrocinador de este mes, contamos con las dulces imágenes de CLOE ILUSTRACION que regala al ganador del sorteo tres digis de su tienda Etsy

En cuanto a las normas para participar en Colouring, son la mar de sencillas: Se trata de crear un proyecto de Scrap que lleve una imagen, sello o dibujo coloreado manualmente.

Una vez hecho, se presenta en blog o red social y se utiliza en botón de enlace que aparece en la entrada de presentación del blog del Colouring, AQUÍ.

Para cualquier duda, podéis ir al apartado de NORMAS o preguntar por Instagram a cualquiera de nosotras.

En cuanto a mi proyecto, se trata de una libreta que he hecho con "Zoe" como protagonista. Tanto Zoe como su dulce amiguito están coloreados con rotuladores de alcohol y si queréis ver el paso a paso del coloreo, podéis ver mi vídeo de YOUTUBE

Una vez coloreada la imagen, la recorté y comencé a hacer la estructura de la libreta, forrando con tela de encuadernación un papel de acuarela, en cuyo lomo coloqué dos eyelets para pasar una goma que sujeta los folios de su interior.

La libreta cierra  con una cinta sujeta por la parte de abajo de la portada, en la que encontramos, además de la imagen, un marco hecho con cartulina azul texturizada y un papel decorado de la colección "Puppy Love" de Papers for You.

Sobre este papel he colocado la imagen y los últimos elementos: unas estrellas (troqueladas y una de madera con Stickles dorado) y una maderita de Estoy en la luna.

En la siguiente fotografía podéis ver mejor el lomo, con los grandes eyelets, la goma y un adorno.
