Scrap N´Dipity kite card

Hoy vengo con una nueva tarjeta para Scrap N´Dipity, la cual tiene como protagonista a Emma Doll, ¿os acordáis de Emma? Ya la hemos visto en alguna ocasión, como montando en bici.
Ahora Emma quiere volar su cometa, pero ¡pobrecita! no hay viento y no puede jugar... No me digáis que no es una imagen dulce y preciosa en su sencillez (podéis encontrar Emma Doll-kite, aquí)
I´m here today with a new card for Scrap N´Dipity, which main character is Emma Doll, do you remember Emma? We have seen her before, riding her bike, for instance.
Now Emma wants to fly her kite but there isn´t any wind and she can´t play...Isn´t she cute and beautiful in her simplicity? (you can find Emma Doll-Kite here)

El sentimiento: "don´t give up on the things that make you smile"( no te rindas con las cosas que te hacen sonreir ) era perfecto para esta tarjeta, que lleva debajo del papel decorado una cinta con unos lazos a modo de cola de cometa, además de ese "cherish everyday" (aprecia cada día).
The sentiment " don´t give up on the things that make you smile", is just perfect for this card, that has a tail made with ribbon under the decorated paper, with some little bows and that "cherish everyday".

Un troquelado hecho con un troquel Spellbinder, un trozo de tinta, de la misma que forma la cola, unas flores de papel y todo envejecido con tintas Distress.
A die cut made with an Spellbinder die, a piece of the same ribbon than the tail, some paper flowers and all Distressed with Distress Ink.

El resultado es sencillo, pero adorable (eso creo!!). Espero que os haya gustado y os recuerdo que hay un reto vigente en Scrap N´Challenge

Mis niñas han comenzado nuevo curso, con las mismas ganas que yo, es decir, ninguna.

My kids have already started their new curse. They are not very thrilled about it, neather am I.

En cuanto a todos los elementos"escolares"que veis: autobús, manzana lápiz y ceras, lo cierto es que no tenía nada de material con esta temática, así que Melissa de Silhouette School me salvó el cuello con estos archivos gratuitos que podéis encontrar aquí.
Regarding all the elements from School that you see: bus, apple, pencil, crayons...The truth is I haven´t got a single element with this theme, so Melissa, from Silhouette School saved my day with this free stickers files that you can find here.

El calendario (unos meses recortados y puestos juntos a modo de bloc con un clip en forma de gafas), la regla y el papel decorado son de diversas colecciones de mi "stash".
Todo ello está montado en un panel rojo de cartulina texturizada, a juego con el vestido de la mamá, la manzana, las señales, el lazo del peluche...
En cuanto al sentimiento (back to school) pues ya me lo ha puesto Melissa en el autobús escolar (gracias Melissa).
The canlendar ( a couple of cutting months one on the othe like a bloc with a paper clip (glasses), the ruler and de decorated paper are all from my paper stash.
All the elements are on a panel made of textured red cardboard.
Regarding the sentiment (back to school) it was already there in the school bus (thanks Melissa).

Scrap N´Dipity Explosion box

Hello everyone:

Toca enseñaros mi segundo trabajo del mes para Scrap N´Dipity. Un trabajo muy especial que  he hecho para decirle a una querida amiga que lo está pasando mal, que estoy aquí para ella, sin importar lo que pase.
Para ello, he utilizado un formato que, me acabo de dar cuenta, reservo sólo para amigas especiales (es la segunda que hago y la primera fue con motivo de la boda de otra amiga).
It´s time to show you my second project this month for Scrap N´ Dipity. A very special work I´ve made to tell a dear friend who is having a bad time, that I´m here for her, no matter what.
To that end, I´ve used a format I´ve just realized I keep for special friends at special occasions (first one for a wedding).

En cuanto a las imágenes (en plural), me consta que también son especiales para Alisha, pues en ella se ha "retratado" con su madre y sus hermanos, un sello perfecto con ocasión del Día de la Madre y que puedes encontrar aquí
Regarding the images (in plural), I´m well aware they are special for Alisha too, because they´re "portraits" or her mother, siblings and hereself, a perfect digital stamp for Mother´s Day that you can find here.

La base de la caja está hecha con cartulina texturizada azul, mientras que todos los paneles (interiores y exteriores) están hechos con papel de acuarela de alto gramaje y tintas Distress Oxide, que me encantan tanto o más que las anteriores.
¿Os gustan el nenufar y sus dos flores? Pues están pintadas con rotuladores Copic. No así los patitos, para lo cual he utilizado  lápices Polychromos.
The box base is made with blue textured cardstock, while all the panels are made with watercolour paper (heavy weight) and Distress Oxides, that I love as much as the former the ink pads.

Do you like the water lily and its flowers? They are coloured with Copic markers, but all the ducks are coloured with Polychromos Pencils.

En primer plano podemos ver a la mamá pato, alrededor de la cual se encuentran todos los hijitos (menos el que nos saluda desde el exterior).
In the forefront we find Mummy duck, surrounded by all her children but the one saying hello from the outside.

En el medio un lago con el más travieso de todos sumergido
In the middle of the box there´s a lake where the most naughty of the ducks is immersed.

En cuanto al sentimiento, "I´ll stand by you, no matter what" (estaré a tu lado pase lo que pase)

August Challenge in Scrap N´ Dipity: Anything goes

Ya estamos a mediados de Agosto y comienza un nuevo reto en Scrap N´Challenge, con esos temas que nos gustan tanto: los Todo Vale, que también nos viene muy bien a veces a las integrantes del equipo de diseño, para qué nos vamos a engañar!
August the 15th and a new challenge in Scrap N´Challenge is here, with one of those themes we love: "ANYTHING GOES", very handy for DT members too, no doubt!

Yo por ejemplo, tenía que alterara la portada de mi nuevo cuaderno de Art Journal, así que maté dos pájaros de un tiro.
El cuaderno de Jane Davenport tiene toda la portada hecha con tela de lienzo, para que utilices prácticamente cualquier medio o técnica mixed media que prefieras.
I had to alter the cover of my new Art Journal notebook, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone.
Jane Davenport´s notebook has all the cover made with canvas, so you can use any mixed media technique you want.

Primero una mano de gesso blanco, posteriormente una pasta de textura sobre stencil con forma de mandala (en esquina superior izquierda e inferior derecha), y capa sobre capa de Dylusion Paints, tintas, papeles decorados, cartón corrugado, un chipboard de Scrapiniec en forma de reloj, un dibujo de un pincel y, por supuesto, un sello de Scrap N´Dipity
First of all, a couple of hands of white gesso, after that, texture paste on top of a mandala stencil (top left corner and bottom right corner), Dylusion Paints, inks, decorated paper, corrugated cardboard, a chipboard clock from Scrapiniec, a brush I´ve drawn and, of course, an image of Scrap N´Dipity.

Scrap N´Dipity card: Angel

Mi segunda entrada de hoy es para Scrap N´Dipity, para el que he realizado una tarjeta con una imagen llamada Ángel, que puedes encontrar aquí
My second post today! Now I come with a card I made for Srap N´Dipity with an image called Angel that you can find here

¿No os parece dulce nuestra angelita? Toda ella, incluido el fondo con el cielo está coloreado con rotuladores Copic, excepto la franja morada del arcoiris que tiene aplicado Nuvo Crystal  Drops, concretamente el Violet Galaxy, que volvemos a encontrar a ambos lados, cerca del falso cosido a modo de enamel dots.
Don´t you think our little angel is so sweet?All of her, including the sky, is coloured with Copic markers, but the violet line, in which I have aplied Nuvo Crystal Drops (Violet Galaxy), that you can find again on both sides of the card, next to the false stitches as enamel dots.

The little wings and the halo are embossed with some transparent embossing powders with glitter.

El sentimiento es una frase motivadora que siempre me ha encantado: "vuela con los ángeles, baila con las estrellas" que nos anima a tener objetivos altos, a no conformarnos y soñar. En cuanto vi a "Ángel" pensé en esa frase...¡Bueno! y en la de "las chicas buenas van al cielo y las malas a todas partes" (quizás le tenga que decir a Alisha que diseñe una chica mala, lol)
The sentiment is a motivational quote that I´ve always loved: "fly with the angels, dance with the stars" which encourage us to have high goals, to challenge ourselves and dream. As soon I saw "Angel" I thought about this quote..."Well! and the one that says "good girls go to heaven bad girls go everywhere" (maybe I have to ask Alisha to design a bad girl, lol)

¡Qué pena! A cada lado de la tarjeta hay dos pequeñas plumas blancas a modo de alas, pero con el fondo blanco a penas se ven...quizás tendría que haber puesto el fondo negro de mi nueva caja de luz...¡Os tengo que hablar de mi caja de luz!
Tengo que arreglar eso en otra entrada.
What a pity!! Each side of the card there´s a little white feather as wings, but with the white background you can´t really see them...Maybe I should have used the black background of my new light box...I have to tell you about my light box!!
I have to fix that in another post.

Recordatorio del reto de julio en Colouring in Scrapland

¡Hola!

Tercer lunes de mes significa que os tengo que recordar el reto vigente en Colouring in Scrapland, cuyo tema es SONRISAS/SMILES
El patrocinador ofrece un premio de dos imágenes para el ganador del sorteo y una imagen para el top 1 elegido por el equipo de diseño
¿Y quien es? SCRAP N´ DIPITY!!!!!

Os enseño mi trabajo de inspiración para el recordatorio:

Es una stepside card hecha con una imagen con la que ya había trabajado antes con otro formato. No debemos olvidar que las imágenes se pueden emplear en diferentes proyectos de lo más variado, el anterior era un proyecto vintage, mientras éste es más actual y divertido.

La imagen se llama Scribble Sally Fairy Friend y la puedes encontrar justo aquí.

Sally está coloreada con rotuladores Copic (además de llevar lunares de gel pen):

Las alas del mismo tono que la mariposa. 

Por cierto que la pequeña amiga alada la he separado del resto de la imagen para encerrarla en una pequeña shaker-tag con el nombre de mi hija pequeña, que volvía al día siguiente de campamento y quería que viese lo mucho que la había echado de menos.

Los enamel dots amarillos y turquesa están hechos con Nuvo Crystal drops (esas botellas de verdad que son un vicio, todos los enamel del tamaño y color que quieras).

Recuerda que todavía tienetienes mucho tiempo para participar en el reto de Colouring, recuerda que debes seguir el tema (sonrisas) y presentar un trabajo de scrap con un sello coloreado.

He usado unos troqueles para montar una sencilla escena para Emma, todos cortados con la Portrait menos las nubes que es un troquel de Spellbinders. 

Las flores llevan una piedrecita de strass del tono más parecido que he podido encontrar al casco y las nubes...

I´ve used some die cuts to create a simple scene for Emma, all cut with the Portrait but the clouds, a Spellbinders die.

There is a strass stone in each one of the flowers, with the same colour than the clouds and the helmet...

Reto de Julio en Colouring in Scrapland

¡Hola!

Primer lunes de mes, así que, aquí estamos las chicas de Colouring con un nuevo reto, cuyo tema es...

¡SONRISAS!/SMILES!!

Es un tema que da muchas opciones para que participes, puede que la imagen sea el de una persona sonriendo o que en el sentimiento pongas referencia a algo o alguien que te haga sonreir...Lo que tú decidas.
Ya sabes que lo importante es que presentes un proyecto terminado de Scrap (tarjeta, alterado, ATC, tag..), pero eso sí, con un sello coloreado con la técnica de tu elección ¡y que siga el reto del mes!
En cuanto al patrocinador de este reto, todos aquellos que ya habéis estado en mi blog seguro que conocéis a SCRAP N´DIPITY, ¿verdad?

El premio será de tres imágenes, dos para el ganador  elegido por sorteo y una para el top 1, elegido por el equipo.
Mi trabajo esta vez no se trata de una tarjeta, sino de un tag, que perfectamente puede ser usado como punto de libro por sus dimensiones.

El fondo está hecho con varias tintas Distress, una vez seco, he aplicado con los dedos gotas de agua (las Distress reaccionan con el agua), además de estampar varias veces un corazoncito y un "HI" de Lawn Fawn.

El sentimiento, "follow your dreams" (persigue tus sueños) es del mismo pack de Lawn Fawn

Aunque como dice el nombre de la imagen, está pensado para el Día de los Enamorados, ¿no te parece perfecto para cualquier proyecto de "correo bonito"/"snail mail"? Con esa sonrisa que luce, seguro que va a dejar en el buzón una carta para su "crafter pen pal".

Con esa idea en mente, he realizado esta "shaker" ayudada (y mucho) por mi pirograbador, pues todavía no tengo la Fuse (está en la lista de deseos), aunque como os he comentado alguna vez, el pirograbador es un estupendo sustituto: Una funda multitaladro cortada en las medidas de tu proyecto, unas lentejuelas de varios colores...y a fundir el plástico con el calor.

Aquí te dejo un corto vídeo (espero que se vea) para que oigas en gratificante sonido de esas divertidas lentejuelas.

Scrap N´Dipity card with Scribbles Sally Geisha

¡Hola!
Hello!

Es increíble el calor que está haciendo en esta parte del Mundo, cada año es un poco peor y yo le digo a mi familia que de aquí a diez años en Madrid no se va a poder vivir en verano, pero nadie me hace caso.
De ahí a dejar mi mente volar sobre posibles viajes hay un paso ¿a dónde iría? ¿al norte de España? ¿al norte de Europa? ¿al norte del Mundo? ¿al norte del muro?...¡¡¡¡¡Perdonadme!!!! ¡¡¡ES ESTE MALDITO CALOR!!!
 Por supuesto Japón es un destino a visitar, siempre me ha llamado la atención la cultura y el arte nipón, por esa mezcla imposible entre ancestrales tradiciones y vanguardias de lo más kitsch.
¿Y yo por qué  os cuento todo esto? Pues porque el personaje de mi nuevo proyecto para Scrap N´Dipity viene directamente de Japón, se llama Scribbles Sally Geisha y lo puedes encontrar aquí
It´s amazing the high temperatures we´re having in this part of the World, each year Summers are getting hotter and I say to my family that ten years from now Madrid will not be suitable for living, but nobody listen to me.
That´s the reason my imagination flies to another countries: Where would I go? North of Spain? North of Europe? North of the World? North of the Wall?...Forgive me!!!! It´s this damn hot.
By all means, Japan is one of the countries I would like to visit, I´ve always been interested in japanese art and culture, probably for that impossible mix between ancenstral traditions and kitsch culture...
And why am I telling you all this? Because the star of my new Scrap N´Dipity project comes directly from Japan, her name is Scribbles Sally Geisha and you can find her here.

Nuestra amiguita está coloreada con rotuladores Copic , mientras que el fondo está hecho con tintas Distress y un sello de Bo bunny embosado varias veces en oro.
Our little friend is coloured with Copic markers, but the background is made with Distress Inks and a Bo Bunny stamp embossed with golden powders.

Toda ella está rodeada por motivos japoneses: grafía, abanicos garzas, sellos y papel decorado de la colección the far east the Die Cuts With a View
She´s sorrounded for japanese motives: Letters, a fan, herons, stamps and decorated paper from DCWAV collection The far East.

Comienza el nuevo reto de Scrap N´Dipity cuyo tema es: TARJETAS DE CUMPLEAÑOS!!!
New Scrap N´ Dipity challenge starts today with the theme: BIRTHDAY CARDS!!!!

La imagen,  coloreada íntegramente con rotuladores Copic se llama "Fortune teller" y la puedes encontrar aquí

Estas son las combinaciones que he usado:
These are the combos I´ve used:

-Cabello/Hair: E13,E17,E39,E49
-Bola/Ball :G11,G21

El fondo está hecho con gotas de las recargas de los Copic (los refill) hay que tener mucho cuidado, porque se expanden tanto que pueden acabar dentro manchando la imagen. A mí me gusta el riesgo y aplico las gotas en el fondo cuando ya está coloreado el sello, pero es la mejor forma de ver el efecto en su conjunto.
The background is made with drops of Copic  Various Ink Refills (G11,R32,B000)You have to be very careful because the drops expand so much they can ruin your image. I like risk and I aply the ink after colouring the image, this is the best way to really see the outcome.

El papel decorado y la etiqueta son de una colección de cumpleaños de Anita y su Mundo.
En cuanto al sentimiento, que dice: "Alerta Spoiler, se acerca una fiesta de cumpleaños" bueno...Ya os imagináis lo que ve la preciosa adivina en su bola de cristal.
The paper and the tag are from a birthday collection from Anita y su Mundo.

Scrap N´Dipity card with Spring Fairy

Hello again!

Hoy os enseño una nueva  tarjeta para Scrap N´ Dipity que he hecho con una preciosa imagen llamada Spring Fairy, que puedes encontrar aquí.
Today I would like to show you a new card I´ve made for Scrap N´Dipity with a beautiful image called Spring Fairy which you can find here.

El formato es una tarjeta con escalones laterales (step side card) que es uno de mis favoritos, quedan tarjetas realmente originales, siempre con movimiento y juego de volúmenes.
Aunque la estructura es muy fácil de realizar, tengo en mi biblioteca de Silhouette un archivo de corte que me facilita bastante la vida, aun así, he pensado hacer la próxima a mano y realizar un pequeño tutorial.
It´s a step side card, I think with this kind of cards, one of my favourites, you can get a great outcome, always with movement and play of volumes.
Although the structure is very simple, I have in my Silhouette library a cut file that makes my life easier, nevertheless, I´ve thought to make a small tutorial next time.

 

La imagen está coloreada con rotuladores Copic con unas combinaciones de rosas y verdes y todos los bordes están envejecidos con tinta Distress Tea Dye.
El cristal de Swarovski que veis colgado de un hilo dorado en un chipboard en forma de marco (de Scrapiniec, como no), no me convencía mucho, creo que hubiese sido mejor dejar el marco únicamente con las pequeñas mariposas rosas, pero ahí vino mi hija, a decirme que le encantaba y que se enfadaría mucho si lo quitaba...Así que se quedó donde estaba y mi hija le da a la bolita cada vez que la ve (en fin, la generación del "spinner finger" que os voy a contar.
The image is coloured with Copic Markers in pink and green combinations and all the borders are distressed with Distress ink Tea Dye.
The Swarovski crystal you see hunging in a chipboard frame (from Scrapiniec, of course) , well, I wasn´t sure about it, I think the card would be more elegant without it, but my daughter told me she liked it and she would be mad at me if I removed it...so there it is and my daughter hit the little ball everytime she sees the card (the "spinner finger" generation, right?)

May challenge in Scrap N´Dipity

Hello everyone:

Comienza el reto de Mayo en Scrap N´Challenge cuyo tema este mes es: "Haz tu propio fondo", es decir, que nada de usar nuestro bonito papel decorado.

Today begins the new Scrap N´Challenge with the theme: "Make your own background" So you can´t use your beautiful decorated paper.

Para hacer el fondo de mi tarjeta he utilizado tintas Distress, sellos, polvos de embossing en dos tonos y rotuladores Copic. Ha sido muy divertido, pero tengo que decir que he echado de menos el papel.

No me he dado cuenta de lo que he llegado a depender de él para hacer mis tarjetas y si tengo que hacer un fondo (sobre todo con rotuladores) ¡tiemblo!

Pero bueno, aquí tenéis el resultado:

To make my background´s card I´ve used Distress Inks, stamps, embossing powder in two tones and Copic Markers. It has been fun, but I have to say that I´ve really missed my paper collections. I haven´t realized  how much I rely on paper to make my cards, in fact, if I have to make a background (especially with Copic markers) I tremble!!

Anyway, here´s the outcome:

Como podéis ver, el fondo resultaba tan decorado, con esas franjas a modo de marco y esos detalles florales, como dientes de león al viento, que además de unas esquineras con flores y unas lentejuelas, no lleva nada más ( bueno, sí, el sentimiento,"crea sin miedo").
As you can see, the background was already too decorated, with those stripes to frame the image, and those floral details like "dandelion ish", so besides some sequins and both corner protectors with flowers, the card is very simple.

En cuanto a la imagen, esta preciosidad se llama "Wind in my hair" (Viento en mi cabello) y la puedes encontrar aquí ( con los ojos abiertos o cerrados).

Scrap N´Dipity card with Scribble Sally Fairy Friend

Hello everybody!

Hoy te enseño la nueva tarjeta que he hecho para Scrap N' Dipity con un sello súper dulce que se llama Scribble Sally Faery Friend y que puedes encontrar aquí.

Today I´m showing you the new card I´ve made for Scrap N´Dipity with a super cute image called Scribble Sally Faery Friend that you can find here.

La nena y su amiguita voladora están coloreadas con rotuladores Copic, como el fondo, al que luego he aplicado una capa de polvos Frantage (Frantage Embossing Enamels Aged Rose).
Todos los bordes están entintados con mi nueva adquisición, la tinta Drew Drop Brilliance Galaxy Gold, que tiene un precioso tono dorado.
The girl and her little flying friend are coloured with Copic Markers, like the background, which I have also applied Frantage Embossing Enamels (Aged Rose).
All the edges are inked with my new acquisition, the ink pad Drew Drop Brilliance (Galaxy Gold).

He querido mantener el tema de la decoración sencillo, ya que la tarjeta no tiene unas dimensiones muy grandes y porque su estructura no es tan sencilla como parece a simple vista.
I wanted the card to be simple in embellishment, because its dimensions are not very big and because the structure is not as simple as it look at first sight.

Como puedes ver en la siguiente foto, es una tarjeta caballete, ¡me encanta este formato!
As you can see in the next picture, it´s an easel card, I love this format!

April Challenge in Scrap N´Dipity

Empieza un nuevo reto en Scrap N´Challenge, que en este mes de abril tiene el siguiente requisito:

EMBOSSING ( utilizar cualquier tipo de embossing, ya sea con una carpeta, con polvos)

There´s a new challenge in Scrap N´Challenge, the theme this April is... EMBOSSING (any type of embossing: with powders, with texture folders)

En mi proyecto de inspiración para el reto he utilizado un sello digital llamado Rose the Hippy que puedes encontrar aquí
In my inspiration project I´ve used a digital stamp called Rose the Hippy that you can find here

He utilizado la misma carpeta de embossing  (Willow de Santoro) para el fondo de detrás del símbolo de la paz, como en el papel decorado que rodea a Rose (al papel negro le he aplicado tinta blanca y al blanco tinta rosa para destacar más el embossado)
I´ve used the same texture folder (Willow from Santoro) for the background behind the peace symbol, and for all the decorated paper surrounding Rose (to the black one I have applied white ink and rose ink for the white one, in order to highlight the texture)

Aquí tienes una imagen más detallada de Rose, a la que he colocado un hilo dorado del que cuelgan unas bonitas flores adornando su pelo: paz, amor y flower power, ¿verdad?

Here´s a Rose closer look, with a golden thread and some pretty flowers embellishing her hair: peace, love and flower power, right?

Scrap N´Dipity card with Wind in my Hair Fairy

Hola, ¿cómo estás?
Hello, how are you?

Hoy es el día de presentarte en mi blog una imagen de Scrap N´Dipity llamada Wind in my hair Fairy y que puedes encontrar aquí
Today I´m introducing  in my blog a beautiful Scrap N´Dipity image called Wind in my hair Fairy which you can find here

Una vez coloreada con rotuladores Copic, he cortado otra copia de la imagen para enmascarar la primera y que no se manchase mientras aplicaba al fondo distress Ink Tattered Rose y una pequeña cantidad de agua con Perfect Pearls, lo que le da un brillo nacarado muy bonito (que no se aprecia en la foto, como suele ser habitual).
Once I´ve coloured the image with Copic markers, I´ve cut another copy to mask the first image, in order to preserve it, and I have applied to the background distress Ink Tattered Rose and a little bit of water with Perfect Pears, which gives a delicate pearlescent  (that you can´t see in the picture, as usual).

Sinceramente, me encanta el resultado, con esa piedra de Swarovski, esas lentejuelas en forma de estrella en dos tonos, esos chipboards con tonos negros de Graphic 45, de la colección a ladies diary y el papel decorado también de Graphic 45 (Gilded Lily).

I really love the outcome, with that Swarovski stone, with those star sequins in two tones, both chipboards with black tones from Graphic 45 collection a ladies diary and decorated paper for the background card, also from Graphic 45 (Gilded Lily).

Pero toda la magia reside, sin duda, en el espectacular sello de Scrap N´Dipity, de esta pequeña hada que le sonrie al viento, mientras a su alrededor toda naturaleza parece cobrar vida y crecer.
But all the magic lies, no doubt, in this stunning stamp from Scrap N´Dipity, with this little fairy who is smiling to the wind, while all around her seems to breathe life and grow.

Happy birthday Rose for Scrap N´Dipity

Hello everyone:

¡Qué contenta estoy de formar parte del equipo de Scrap N´Dipity! Rose es elegante, guapa, moderna y divertida y yo estoy feliz de poder hacerla la protagonista de varias de mis tarjetas. El mes pasado nos enseñaba cómo no dejar escapar los sueños con "dreamcatcher Rose" y este mes nos ayuda a felicitar un cumpleaños. Puedes encontrar a "Happy Birthday Rose" aquí
I´m so glad to be part of the  Scrap N´Dipity team! Rose is so elegant, pretty  and funny that I love making her the main character of some of my cards. Last month she taught us how to seize our dreams in "Dreamcatcher Rose" and this month she´s wishing a happy birthday with us. You can find "Happy Birthday Rose" here

Mi intención era hacer una tarjeta llamativa y alegre, perfecta para una fiesta, así que escogí Copics con colores vibrantes, tanto con Rose como con los globos, a los que rematé con una capa de Wink of Stella para darles un bonito brillo (algunos, además, llevan unos lunares hechos con boli de gel blanco).
El fondo está hecho con tinta Memento drops en un color clarito para resaltar más a Rose, concretamente el Angel Pink, aplicado con una esponjita de dedo.
My idea for this project was an eye-catching  and  cheerful card, perfect for a party, so I chose vibrant colours of my Copic markers, for Rose and for the balloons, which also have a layer of Wink of Stella for a soft sparkle (besides, some of them are wearing dots made with white gel pen).
The background is made with Memento drops Ink  in a soft color(Angel Pink) for making Rose standing out even more, applied with a sponge dauber.

Pero Rose es la protagonista indudable de la tarjeta, los globos no son más que atrezzo detrás de ella y para enfatizar esta idea, coloreé a nuestra amiga nada menos que cuatro veces, sólo la primera vez la pinté con los globos, las demás veces recorté su figura y las puse una encima de otra separadas con 3D foam squares (ya sabéis, las almohadillas autoadhesivas) lo que proporciona a nuestra amiguita un gran relieve, dejando los globos verdaderamente a su espalda.
Es una pena que no se pueda apreciar los detalles de la tarjeta como me gustaría: el brillo de los globos y del marco de purpurina dorada, e incluso la tridimensionalidad de Rose, pero llevamos muchos días sin un rayito de sol en nuestra soleada España...Ya,ya! luego me quejaré amargamente del verano.
But Rose is the absolute star of this card, the balloons are nothing more than atrezzo behind her, and to emphasize that idea, I coloured our friend nothing less than four times, only the first one with the balloons, placing the others above with 3D foam squares between them. This way, we have a great three dimensionality, leaving the balloons really at her back.
It´s a pity you can´t appreciate the details the way I would like to: the sparkle of the balloons and the glittered gold framework, for example, but It´s cloudy in our sunny Spain... I know, I know! soon I will be complaining about Summer time.

February challenge in Scrap N´ Dipity

Es hora de un nuevo reto en Scrap N´Challenge y este mes el tema es: CORAZONES, perfecto para el mes del amor, ¿no crees?
It´s time for a new challenge in Scrap N´Challenge, and this month the theme is: HEARTS, perfect for this month of love, don´t you think?

En mi proyecto de inspiración para el reto he utilizado un sello llamado "little centaur" que puedes encontrar aquí. No me digas que esta pequeña no es una monada súper dulce y de la manera que extiende sus bracitos, la frase "I love you this much" (te quiero todo esto) era perfecta para esta tarjeta, llena de preciosos corazones, algunos coloreados con Copic y con una capa de Glossy Accents para darles volumen, otros troquelados.
La pequeña centauro también esta coloreada con rotuladores Copic.
In my inspiration for the challenge project I´ve used a digital stamp called "little centaur" which you can find here. Isn´t she a sweet cutie? And the way she opens her little arms is perfect for the sentiment "I love  you this much" don´t you think?Perfect for this card full of beautiful hearts, some of them coloured with Copic markers  and a layer of Glossy Accents and others made with die cuts.
The little centaur is also coloured with Copic markers.
