Ching Chou Kuik- Hello Magnolia

Sábado se ha convertido ya en un día habitual para publicar en el blog un proyecto como miembro del equipo de diseño de Ching Chou Kuik.

Saturday has become the usual day for me to publish on the blog an entry as Ching Chou Kuik´s Desing Team member.

Me encantan sus dibujos llenos de dulzura y presencia, algo melancólicos y mágicos, con esos cabellos y ropajes al viento...nunca me canso de darles color.

Esta semana las DT debíamos utilizar flores en nuestro trabajo, totalmente apropiado teniendo en cuenta el tema del reto de este mes de marzo: PRIMAVERA/PASCUA.

I really love her drawings full with softness and strength of character, a little bit melancholic and enchanting, with those hairs and clothes floating to the wind...I never get tired of colour them.

This week the DT had to use flower on our projects, a perfect match for March challenge which theme is SPRING EASTER

Como podéis ver se trata de una tarjeta cuya protagonista es una imagen llamada "Hello Magnolia" (Hola Magnolia) que podéis encontrar aquí.

As you can see, it´s a card which main character is an image called "Hello Magnolia" that can be found here.

Aunque en su mayor parte he utilizado rotuladores Copic para colorearla, en el vestido he utilizado también mis Polychromo de Faber-Castell. Debo decir que me ha encantado el resultado, aunque las puntas de los Copic sufren si no llevas un orden concreto y ordenado de "primero rotu, luego lápiz"
Although most of it is coloured with Copic markers, for the dress I´ve used Faber-Castell´s Polychromos along with the Copic. I really like the outcome, but the Copic´s tips suffered because I should have respected the order "first Copic, then pencil"

Para el fondo he utilizado tinta Distress, Memento Dew Drop, ambas aplicadas con esponjita, así como el Polychromo blanco, haciendo pequeñas manchas blancas.
Regarding the background, I´ve used Distress Inks along with Memento Dew Drops applied both with sponge, and the white Polychromo pencil making little spots.

Una vez recortado el panel con la imagen al tamaño requerido, troquelé el borde superior con un troquel de bordes, pero sin llegar a los extremos para no cambiar el rectánculo y  convertirla en una shaped card, de modo que lo que podía ser forma, se queda en decoración.
Once the panel was cut with the size wanted, I die cut the upper border with a shape border punch.
El panel está colocado sobre una cartulina fucsia texturizada, y ésta sobre una verde, a juego con el vestido de la imagen.
The panel is placed on two different colours textured carstocks, matching the image colours.
En cuanto a las flores, las dos blancas de la izquierda las he hecho yo. Me gusta hacerlas cuando tengo tiempo, colocar los pistilos, teñirlas...y la verdad es que me gustaría aprender a hacerlas mejor, quizás con ese material...foamiran, creo que se llama.
Regarding the flowers, the big white ones on the left are handmade, I love to make my own flowers from time to time.

En cuanto al sentimiento, es un troquel del "Señor Piruleta" que he troquelado dos veces y superpuesto.
Regarding the sentiment, is a die from "Señor Piruleta" and means "moments" in spanish. I die cut it both and overlay them.
